Stephen Horn, II,
MMC Senior Vice President, has thirty-five years of experience in the financial services industry including planning, marketing, personnel development and financial analysis. He brings his background as a CEO and COO from the corporate world to assist museums in developing the business side of the organization. Steve has worked with a variety of museums in planning and evaluation of programs and services for the public. Steve, who has a B.A. degree with honors from the University of California at Berkeley in English and Political Science, is also the author of a number of textbooks. He has been a member of the adjunct faculty at Golden Gate University and the Insurance Educational Association in San Francisco.

Emily Cohen,
MMC Senior Vice President, returns to MMC after two years building a successful fundraising program for an award-winning youth development agency where she raised over $1 million annually. Previously, she worked as Vice President of Museum Management Consultants for six years. Client projects included management audits, strategic planning, executive search and program evaluation and analysis for a wide variety of museums and cultural organizations. Prior to MMC, Emily worked at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art assisting the Director and the Board of Trustees in coordinating programs and daily operations. Emily has been a speaker at museum conferences and has been actively involved with ArtTable. Emily has a BA from Pomona College and is starting her MBA in the Fall 2007.

Katie Sevier,
MMC Assistant Vice President , has over nine years of experience in nonprofit and cultural organizations, including museums, government arts agencies, symphonies, and theaters. Her experience includes seven years as a development officer in the performing arts and consulting work that includes financial and organizational analysis, evaluation and strategic planning for arts organizations. Katie has a B.A. in Art History and Political Science from Wellesley College and an M.A. in Public Policy from UC Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy, where she concentrated in nonprofit management and cultural policy.

Jennifer Cole, 
MMC Project Coordinator/Office Manager, provides administrative support for all MMC projects. She comes to MMC from a communications role in the financial industry and has also volunteered with museums, historical societies, and other arts organizations for the past 8 years. She has a degree in Russian Language with a minor in Art History.
